Omnigym's product development
Omnigym equipment is built around human anatomy. Product development dates back to the 1980s when the top-rated David indoor gym equipment series was created. Omnigym equipment is based on these biomechanically correct David fitness products.
Biomechanics gives the keys to understanding the movement. When the equipment is done biomechanically correctly, they are effective and safe for the users.
To serve the changing needs of our users, we are constantly updating and developing our product line. Thanks to our continuous user surveys, we are quite well aware of the users' wishes. Based on the feedback from our users, we develop our current equipment and build completely new ones.
Our products are designed and handmade at our factory in Kaarina.
Studied and certified
The Omnigym equipment is scientifically proven to be as efficient as indoor gym equipment, according to a study made by the University of Jyväskylä. The equipment is TÜV certified and Omnigym has ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Omnigym equipment holds FI 127344, EP 3344348, and US 10814156 patents.
All of our equipment is EN16630 certified.

1980 - DAVID BACKROUND

2015 - FIRST STEPS
The first range of outdoor fitness equipment was designed and installed for the city of Helsinki.
The product line won the Exercise Product of the Year Award in Finland.

2018 - INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Launch of the Omnigym brand.

2020 - STUDYING THE USAGE
The first Global User study was made in Schiedam, The Netherlands, followed later by other municipalities and countries.

2021 - HELLO SWEDEN
Subsidiary, Omnigym Sweden, was established.
The University of Jyväskylä made research of Omnigym products.
Export was about 50% of the turnover. Omnigym Road tour -onsite testing around Europe.More than 230 outdoor gyms in Europe.

2023 - WELCOMING THE FUTURE
Launch of Omnigym SMART! A system that collects and analyzes data of the outdoor gym's usage, to help maintenance and the development of outdoor fitness areas.
