MEETING THE DEMAND

The Challenge

Many campsites in France have started to see a rising demand for active tourism, as guests increasingly seek opportunities to combine outdoor recreation with wellness and outdoor gym training during their stays. Naturéo Éco Resort wanted to respond to this trend by incorporating outdoor gym training alongside other activities within the campsite’s natural environment.

The Solution

To address this challenge, Naturéo Éco Resort implemented a temporary Omnigym outdoor gym between April and May 2025, providing accessible, all-weather training solutions that also promote Sport Santé principles. This setup allowed guests of all fitness levels to engage in outdoor exercise, combining strength and functional workouts while remaining fully immersed in the surrounding pine forest and near the Atlantic coastline. The initiative reinforces the resort’s commitment to active tourism, wellness, and sustainable, nature-connected recreation.

INSIGHT

Weekday peak usage at the outdoor gym occurred from 7–8 PM, reflecting high user demand as guests wind down from daytime activities but have not yet started evening events.
